mewithoutYou live on through a triptych of live albums.
Chaotic and somber, polished yet frenetic, mewithoutYou’s unpredictable and wildly dynamic stage show set them apart from their peers and endeared them to lovers of music for over two decades. But since the band left the stage following their 2022 “Farewell” tour, fans have been left to scour the internet for remnants of their dramatic live sound. "Live", the band’s latest project, hopes to bring that search to an end.
Bold. Unfiltered. Electric. No Repeats.
"Live" is a collage of performances recorded over the band’s final years on tour, carved into three singular shows and spread across three separate volumes; sculpted to recreate the sensory experience of any one of the band’s hundreds of genre-defying and emotionally heightened sets. Recorded and mixed by longtime touring sound engineer Michael Lane and mastered by Grammy Award-winner Hans DeKline (U2, Pixies, Touché Amore), "Live" is a meticulously crafted series of live albums meant to be listened to with the volume knob turned up.

From stage right to left — Brandon Beaver, Greg Jehanian, Rickie Mazzotta, along with brothers Aaron and Mike Weiss — the band presents the many different sides of mewithoutYou as each volume’s hour-plus-long setlist spans their discography. As with their live shows, no two performances are alike and the setlist is kept a secret, with each song flowing into the next. There may even be a few surprises along the way.
All three volumes will be available exclusively through the band's online store on 2xLP vinyl, compact disc, and cassette, accompanied by bold, dimensional new artwork from longtime collaborator and friend, Vasily Kafanov.
As mewithoutYou continues to spin in a dark void of uncertainty, “Live” allows fans, new and old, to once again experience their music in its most psychedelic and whimsical form.
