mewithoutYou live on through a triptych of live albums.
Chaotic and somber, polished yet frenetic, mewithoutYou’s unpredictable and wildly dynamic stage show set them apart from their peers and endeared them to lovers of music for over two decades. But since mewithoutYou left the stage following their 2022 “Farewell” tour, fans have been left to scour the internet for remnants of their dramatic live sound. “Live," the band’s latest project, hopes to bring that search to an end.

Raw. Dynamic. Unpredictable. No Repeats.
“Live” is a collage of performances recorded over mewithoutYou’s last several years on tour, sculpted into three singular shows and spread across three separate releases, with the intention of recreating the abstract sensory experience of any one of the band’s hundreds of emotionally raw shows. Recorded and mixed by Michael Lane (the band’s touring sound engineer) and mastered by Grammy Award winner Hans DeKline (U2, Pixies, Touché Amore), “Live” is a meticulously crafted series of live albums meant to be listened to with the volume knob turned up.
Band members [from stage right to left] Brandon Beaver, Greg Jehanian, Rickie Mazzotta, along with brothers Aaron and Mike Weiss, present the many different sides of mewithoutYou as each volume’s hour-plus-long set spans their discography.
In keeping with the tradition of mewithoutYou’s live shows, no two performances are alike and the setlist is kept a secret as each song blends into the next. There may even be a couple of surprises along the way. Each volume will be available on 2xLP vinyl, compact disc, and audio cassette, and paired with boldly dimensional and exciting new work from long-time collaborator, artist, and friend, Vasily Kafanov.
Volume One Comes Out Nov. 22nd
