We wanted to stop by some of the lesser-traveled-to places in America (namely Montana and North Dakota), we also wanted to hit up Western Canada. But unfortunately we were unable to make it happen. There are a lot of moving parts when putting a tour together. We tried though!
So with that said we are pleased to announce our 2013 Summer tour with Rocky Votolato, Shone, and, our friends from Philly, Auctioneer.

So here we are… almost a year since we first premiered February, 1878 on Paste Magazine’s website. Usually music videos come out when a band is pushing a new album. And admittedly we are WAY later on getting this out than we had planned (Hey, give us a break we’ve never had to do this stuff on our own before). But maybe its timing is perfect. Because as we reach the anniversary of this song’s premiere, we can look back and reflect all on that’s happened. We self-released our fifth record, “Ten Stories,” with greater success than we could’ve imagined (Thank you!). We’ve driven all over the country and flown across the world. We got to play with bands we never thought we’d get the chance to play with. We’ve added a new member to the group, Brandon Beaver, who’s added a whole other dimension to our sound. And not to get too sappy here but we’ve grown closer, we’ve learned a lot of lessons, some of us have brought new life into the world, some of us have found love. Needles to say it was a banner year for our band and the best part about is that we were able to do it together. We like to think that this little 4 minutes of candid footage is a reflection of that time. So with that please enjoy our new music video for February, 1878.
Naturally you can stream and share this video from our YouTube page. But if you would like to download this video in HD quality we are offering a DRM-free version of the video HERE. All we ask is for a donation of your choice ($1 minimum). Producing our own music videos has proven to be more costly and more time-consuming than maybe we had anticipated. So we are hoping with your donations that we will be able to budget more wisely in the future which will of course allow us to bring you more cool stuff. No pressure though.

Well this news was somewhat unexpected. Paramore has asked to come out Asia with them in February. We’ve never been to that part of the world before so this should be interesting. Also these three shows will have a greater attendance than our last 5 weeks headlining this Summer. That’s pretty cool.

2/15 Manila, Philippines @ Mall of Asia Arena
2/17 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia @ Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena
It’s a sad but true fact; with life there comes death. The same can be said of musicians in that with every band there must be a disbanding. And it seems that after 14 years the time has come for our old friends in Underoath. So next January in 2013, we are pleased to be a part of a short tour that sends them on their way.
1/13 Worcester, MA @ The Palladium (new show added)

Last week the band got together a couple days after finishing out the first leg of our Summer Tour over to start assembling the first 2,000 copies of the Ten Stories Deluxe Box Sets. We had a day of set up and prep and then another two solid days of assembly and then another solid day of transportting and shipping the goods to Red Eye Distribution down in Haw River. All-in-all it was a full week of work just getting those first initial 2,000 sets out the door and there’s another 2,000 left to assemble and ship out. Which will be happening as soon as the next shipment of the actual boxes for the box sets arrive.
We’d like to thank all our friends who graciously volunteered their time in helping put these together and also to some that helped facilitate the shipping and receiving :
DJ Robinson, Jill Robinson, KJ Wagner, Mike Bachich, Brian Dwyer, Joe Hunter, Adam Malliet, Leann Gorman, Jess Hong, Scotty Krueger, Matt Chapin, Stephen Landis, Aziza Weiss, Daniel Pilger, Nate Wissler, Timmy Grant, Craig Almquist, Meg Lemiur, Nic Justice
There’s even more on the way, but we only have a couple hundred left unsold. Scoop’em up while you can over on our online store: http://mewithoutyou.11spot.com/index.php?fuseaction=item_cat.ecom_superitem_detail&item_cat_id=7166
Starting today (May 24th) in Oklahoma City we will have a limited edition tour-only 7 inch of “February 1878″ (with the b-side track “Four Fires”) available at all our shows this Summer. We are super pumped to offer this thing to fans coming out to our shows. Old-style tip-on sleeves with a lyric sheet for both songs and another, and they come on both green and blue audiophile-light colors. So if you are coming out to any of our shows this Summer stop by the merch table to pick up your copy for just $7 ($1 per inch). If we don’t sell’em all by August 18th then maybe you’ll see them on our online store.
